The Web of Science Core Collection is a multidisciplinary, abstract database containing information on more than 100 million documents from more than 22,000 journals, 150,000 books, and 300,000 conferences.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides access to the Elsevier Scopus database as part of a national subscription. Scopus is the largest database of abstracts and citations of peer – reviewed literature: scientific journals, books, and conference proceedings.
The Scopus database contains more than 100 million entries, 30,200 active periodicals in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, technology, medicine and art.
